HUTH SIGNS UP
Robert Huth has signed a fresh contract of 3 years with Stoke city. Since the opening of the transfer window, there have been talks about Huth taking transfer to some other club. But, Stoke city has become able to keep its German defender with itself. The manger of Stoke City, Tony Pulis, has said that Robert has performed well for us in the last three seasons and it would not have been a wise decision to release such a consistent player.
On being asked about the extension of the contract, Huth said that he is happy to sign the new contract. According to Huth, he has spent some wonderful time here with the stoke city guys. He said that the three years that he has spent with the Stoke City till now are quite enjoyable. He is proud that he has played a big part in the team’s success. In the last two seasons, Huth had been named as the player of the year. As per Huth, though the personal milestones don’t matter much in a team game, but, such kind of awards make a player more confident.
Before joining Stoke city, Huth used to play for Middlesbrough. He joined Stoke City in 2009. He was paid 5 million pounds for signing a contract of 4 years. Huth is one of the most consistent players for Stoke City in the last three seasons. The manager of Stoke City, Tony Pulis said that it is wonderful to extend the contract of Huth. The fans of Stoke City are quite happy with this decision of the club because they love Huth a lot.
Meanwhile, Huth has said that he has set some targets for himself, which he would like to achieve in the upcoming season. As per Huth, he would continue giving his best for the team and hopefully, the team would do well in the upcoming season.
