Huth Approaching Another Injury
Throughout his entire career Robert Huth has been struggling with his consistent series of injuries which has forced him on undergoing scans and surgeries and leaving the German defender out of action for a noticeably long span of time.
Back when Huth was a Middlesbrough player in 2006, he had to settle with a place on the sidelines of the team due to ankle injuries the German performer endured surgeries that obliged him on being left out of a series of matches for more than 4 months and things have not changed much with Stoke City.
Due to all of the injuries he sustained as a player of Stoke City during the previous season, Huth only managed on making 12 league appearances and now he is making his way back from yet another injury but according to the head coach of the club, Mark Hughes suggested the German defender to not rush his recovery.
“You know Huthy, trying to keep tight reins on him is the big problem. He’s doing everything asked of him, and probably more. He’s in a better place than he was because he was really frustrated with the injury earlier on when it wasn’t resolving itself. You know that with Robert that the work ethic is good and he will do everything within his power to get back as soon as possible.” Hughes stated.
Ever since Huth made his move to Stoke City and played his debut season with the club at the Britannia Stadium he has been a consistent and influential making more than 30 appearances in every single season except for the previous campaign which concluded a few weeks ago.
Mark Hughes is hoping that Huth completes his recovery and gets fit to work and play alongside his teammates of Stoke City as the squad has a pre-season schedule which needs to be fulfilled.
