2010/2011 Premier League: Liverpool -vs- Stoke 2-0 [02.02.2011]
During the 2010/2011 season, I will be generating image video clips of each single Liverpool FC game. Whether or not it be Premier League, FA Cup, Europa League or Carling Cup, they will all be on my channel. Sadly due to copyright laws, it proves almost unattainable to submit real match video on YouTube, but luckily for now, they can’t stop the photos. In this thirty-fifth video, we appear back again at the Premier League game played between Liverpool & Stoke Town. The game was played at Anfield in front of a buoyant & reinvigorated 40254 crowd & ended in a 2- victory for Liverpool. Luis Suarez scored on his Liverpool debut as the Reds commenced their submit-Fernando Torres era by beating Stoke. Potters keeper Asmir Begovic’s reflex save stored out a Glen Johnson header but Raul Meireles drove in a 47th moment shot to put the residence side ahead. John Carew had a strike which went extensive ahead of Suarez rounded Begovic and noticed his shot go in even with Andy Wilkinson’s try at a sliding interception. Reds keeper Pepe Reina saved from Jon Walters as Liverpool secured victory. On a day when the large Torres mural on the outside of the stadium had been eliminated, within Anfield Suarez supplied enough proof soon after his 63rd minute introduction that the Reds faithful might have one more hero to appreciate. The Uruguayan’s target in front of the Kop sixteen minutes following coming off the substitutes bench helped the Reds to a 3rd consecutive league win, whilst the residence aspect also kept a clear sheet in as numerous matches …

Welcome to anfield Suarez,ambitious uruguayan….YNWA
@carmenimperial Thats Stoke and Pulis for you. Was always going to be tough but the 16 minute sharp shooter showed a glimpse of whats to come. Fuck Fernando Torres. 50M for a Judas? Top business. Dead pleased with tonights game. Kenny 3 out of 3. 9 from 9. Up the redmen.
a very rough game
A Kuyt flick released Liverpool’s new number seven on goal and, although Wilkinson got a boot to the striker’s shot, he could only help it into the net off the post.
Reina had to keep out a Walters shot to maintain a clean sheet for the home side as the Reds revival continued ahead of the visit to face Torres and his new club Chelsea on Sunday.
Love & Peace.
Enjoy!
That was until 47 minutes when a long range Gerrard strike came off the Stoke wall and, after Potters centre-back Robert Huth tackled Kyrgiakos, the ball fell to Meireles to steer in a shot for his third goal in four games.
Carew, making his full debut for Stoke, sent an effort across goal narrowly wide as the visitors were forced to attack before £22.7m signing Suarez made a goalscoring start to his Anfield career.
